China Glaze Secret Peri-Wink-le, Sally Hansen White On, and Konad plate m79
I bought some new Konad plates and the first design I used from them is the cloud design from plate 79. This one really called out to me because I am obsessed with the sky; night sky or day. Sounds weird, but the sky is magical to me, so I was so excited to get this plate. Anyhoo, I used three coats of China Glaze Secret Peri-wink-le, and then used Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear White On for the design. The thing about the cloud design is that the clouds obviously aren't exactly an intricate design, so the clouds create basically a pool of white polish, so when you try to transfer it to the stamp, it smooshes up a bit and makes for a less-than-even stamp. However, while I thought perfect opaque little clouds would rock, I like that they're a bit sheer in some places because it makes it look more like actual clouds; thinner in some places and thicker in others. Either way I'm so excited with my new plates, and I'll be doing quite a few more konadicures soon so I can try them all out!

Oh my!!! I adore this mani! I'm gonna get the plate once it's out here!
