My Swap with Michelle from The Lacquer Files

By beautopia · June 30, 2010 · 0 Comments ·

I very recently swapped with the lovely Michelle from The Lacquer Files, and I wanted to show you guys the goodies she sent! We swapped wishlists for polishes available in each other's country, and went out hunting. It was a lot of fun because polishes I see all the time walking into my local drugstore are almost exotic to someone else, and vice versa. It was fun to go out and hunt for goodies for her wishlist, especially because it was so easy to fulfill. I also obviously enjoyed receiving a bunch of polishes I haven't got access to here. I'll be reviewing these one by one over the course of the next couple weeks, but for now how about some bottle pics?!

Catrice from L-R: Clay-ton My Hero, From Dusk till Dawn, I Sea You, Sold Out Forever, London's Weather Forecast

P2 Glory, Artful, and Rich & Royal

H&M: GOddess on Stage, Turquoise Kitty, Cha Cha

Art de Lautrec 7B, UMA Cherry Blossom, Kiko (I believe it's Microglitter Dark Orchid), Essence Spicy

A franken that Michelle mixed for me called Beautopia, a great light lavender shimmer with a hint of green sheen.

Essence Nail Art jewels

A really cool licorice candy from the Netherlands. I'm partial to real black licorice, not the gross waxy kind you find here in America, so the smell of this brought back amazingly wonderful memories from my time in Europe. I was shocked how potent it was, it'll be an acquired taste, but I like it so far. I like opening the package and taking a whiff!

Thank you Michelle for such an amazingly awesome swap! Every polish was right up my alley, the two Catrice greens were on my wishlist originally but I had taken them off because I was afraid I had too many similar colors already, so luckily you read my mind and sent them anyway because I love them! Everything was wonderful!
