Hey everyone! I know it's been such a long time and you're probably tired of hearing these things from bloggers coming back from an unexpected hiatus that lasts months, but there it is. I know that while I've been gone, people have still been visiting and I really hope that the content amassed over the last couple years has been helpful. Even though my immediate plans for the blog are to resume posting, it probably won't be daily like before. Not yet, anyway. I really miss sharing my thoughts and pictures with you guys and the contact we used to have. I love hearing from everyone, and I miss it. I've still been reading tons of nail blogs on a regular basis, so I've been able to maintain a small link to the nail blogosphere, but I'm ready to take an active part again. I hope that you guys will join me, and stop in and see me from time to time:)
Just because I haven't been posting doesn't mean I haven't been doing my nails. In fact I've been doing them nearly as often and I've been trying to work on my freehand nail art skills in the interim. So I want to share some of that slight evolution. To start out with, I just wanted to share a few designs over the past few months. I warn you ahead of time, none of the photos were taken with a real camera; they're all taken with my iPhone, so the quality isn't the best.
Camo from today, actually. Base of SOPI Don't Feed the Hand Models with camo of MAC Dry Martini and SOPI Caught with My Khakis Down and white.
Some leopard camo inspired by Sephora's new Electric Safari collection.
This was just a gold gradient I wore to my husband's cousin's wedding. I used several China Glaze polishes, including 2030 painted at the tips first and then followed by Shooting Stars and Solar Flare. Perhaps another but I don't remember what as this was in September, lol.
Multi Leopard including Sally Hansen Pacific Blue, China Glaze Flyin High, OPI Who the Shrek Are You?, Color Club Puccilicious, Nubar Pink Cream.
Pink Leopard with China Glaze Something Sweet and OPI DC Cherry blossom, plaid with Art Club pink and black stripers over Sally hansen Pacific Blue, a Union Jack and a Scottish Flag
Christmas Plaid with China Glaze Ruby Deer, and striping paints.
China Glaze Little Drummer Boy with China Glaze Millenium Snowflakes
Abstract NYC themed nails. Never did get around to putting them on the nail yet, though.
White with black Konad houndstooth
Assorted Konad designs accented with China glaze Pool Party, which is the best neon pink ever and it's badly represented here.
My attempt at Mondrian. It was a fail. my black striper polish was goopy and I couldn't find my thinner.
Sally Hansen Pacific Blue with China Glaze Black Mesh and a Union Jack
China Glaze First mate with another Union Jack
Sponged with a bunch of China Glaze Poolside neons and leopard with a Migi pen.
OPI DC Cherry Blossom with leopard and eyeball, a la Wah
My try at Lacquerized's monarch nails. used China Glaze Sun Worshipper and Essie Shorty Pants.
My take on mixed animal. China Glaze 2030 is the metallic gold, used black and white by Wet n Wild and a Migi nail art pen.

Ahhh I thought you would never return! I'm glad that you're doing fine, and I hope that the hubby and kidlet are also well.
These are some really pretty nail looks...my favorite would be the snowflake, but they're all gorgeous.
Welcome back!!
