Wet n Wild Wild Shine Nail Polish in Night Prowl - $1 at most drugstores

One of the newer polishes in the ranks of the Wild Shine range is Night Prowl; a slightly sheer black with deep magenta glitter. There's another similar color by Petites called Black Amethyst, but it's about the same price for a smaller bottle and it's just a smidge more sheer. I liked the Petites version a lot until I happened upon Night Prowl, because I can get away with one less coat, and the glitter seems a bit bigger. I use thin-ish coats, but even so, three coats is better than four. The sheer texture helps the glitter to show through, much like China Glaze Lubu Heels, and the overall look of the polish is a deep purple when viewed at arms length. Up close, you can see the glitter quite well in the black base, and it's a nice departure from plain black. For one dollar, you just can't beat these polishes, I love the formula to death. Blue Moon is another favorite I recommend checking out!

What kind of topcoat do you use? Because I'm having trouble finding a good topcoat that provides an awesome shine and lasts as well.
