Zoya Nail Polish in Envy - $7 at zoya.com

My newfound love of green polishes led me to purchase Envy recently, and while I was expecting a little more of an olive tone from what I'd seen in swatches online, but really it's just a sort of washed out vampy forest green. I can't say that I don't like it, but I have some reservations. The finish/texture of this polish sort of puts me off. On the first coat, it looks gritty. After two coats, you've got complete coverage, so the finish just looks like a fine texturing. It applied very smoothly, and really did only need two coats. I think the photos tell the story, so check 'em out!

Here's a nail after one coat. You can see it's pretty even, no streaking, but there's a lot of grit there. All the darker spots you see are what I'm talking about
