I am way more excited than I should be after figuring out how to actually make these. I buy and covet earrings like this like it's my job and my hat is off to the ladies who do so many of these, but they really are easy if you want to make your own! I still have to glue the earring backs on to them so right now they are basically fabric-covered-shankless-buttons, but whatever, I was too excited to wait. I'll post a photo with them in my ears tomorrow! My 5-yr-old girl is in fits over them, she has picked out a ton of fabric to have some clip-ons made!
The metal is shining through a bit because of the flash, but there ya go.

If it's good enough for your baby's skin, it's good enough for me! I've got two new favorites that are made for baby, but are great for adult skin, too!

I'm a lip balm junkie, and come on, I know I'm not the only one.
A couple of my very favorites are Kiehl's #1 lip balm and Nivea Kiss of Rejunvenation with Q10, and I have a new favorite that seems like the perfect blend of the two, plus maybe a little extra magic: Boudreaux's Baby Kisses Lip and Cheek Moisturizer, from the makers of the infamous Butt Balm. Butt Balm saved my daughter's bumbum on more than one occasion when she was a baby, as well as rashes and minor scrapes in more recent years. It's great for adult skin issues, too! So when I saw that Boudreaux's has a lip moisturizer meant for baby's sensitive lips without any crazy additives, i wanted to try it immediately. At $2.99 it's a great deal and cheaper by $5 than my HG balm, Kiehl's #1 and makes my lips feel wonderful.
