Zoya Pinta is an incredibly pigmented vampy "blurple" from their Dare collection for Fall. This baby was nearly opaque in one coat and applied amazingly. I have an on-and-off obsession with Zoya and while I usually gravitate towards the more "interesting" shades (shimmers, glitters, duochromes) it's creme nail polishes that I think Zoya does best.

This is Lippmann Collection's Ruby Red Slippers. Initially only available as part of a Ménage à trois of lip-smacking glitteriffic polishes commemorating the company's 10th anniversary. Now they're available seperately and this baby threw itself at me, I swear. What a little hussy.

Lippmann's website calls this "Dorothy's Shimmering Ruby." Let me tell you something about your friend, and mine, Dot. After returning to Kansas following her trek around wherever the hell she was, she got bored. After all the adventures she'd had with her various organ-deficient friends, she felt a little stifled back on the farm. So her gingham skirt got shorter and her ruby red heels got a little higher, and this is what her slippers look like nowadays, girls. Not your mama's ruby reds. Behold.

Ruby Red Slippers is a super-sheer black base with loads of both teeny round, and larger hex glitter in a rich red. This picture shows 3 coats. I thought 4 was going a little far, though I may next time. I wanna go all the way with this one. *wink*

I love purple nail polish so much I could drink it. I think it would taste like sunshine and rainbows and a fifth of Crown all rolled into one. Or perhaps the fumes are getting to me. This purple has stolen my heart recently. It's Wild at Heart from Color Club's eponymous Fall collection. Woooo that's some confused holo, my friends. It's all over the place. There's a little of the linear holo action and then there are some rebellious little particles hanging out all over the place. And even if you've got no sun or bright artificial light, this is a vampy purple that still manages to be a vibrant jeweltone even in the darkest corners of your secret makeup closet.

I've got Rescue Beauty Lounge lemmings that have been languishing... because Orly has been systematically killing them. Two down so far!

One night a few weeks ago i was plotting a RBL order. I let it marinate for the night and planned on pulling the trigger the next day. But as fate would have it I went to Sally Beauty first and picked up a couple Orly from a new collection; Cashmere Cardigan and Country Club Khaki. I got home and used Cashmere Cardigan and realized that it looked just like all the pics i'd been drooling over of RBL Purple Haze! So i put off my order to RBL for a little longer since I only had a couple other things besides Purple Haze on my list.
